We have a new agreement between Student Health and Welfare and the UC-CHRISTUS Health Network. As a regular UC student (undergraduate, graduate, medical specialties and postgraduate), you will have access to benefits in face-to-face clinical care at the UC-CHRISTUS Health Network throughout the year, including February, even when the university is closed for academic recess. Students on their way to graduation and students on their way to graduation, with a maximum of 1 year since they enrolled in the last course, will also be able to access the benefits of the agreement. The automation of the voucher payment system, which will be done directly at the UC-CHRISTUS Health Network centers, will facilitate access to services and save you time. Just place your fingerprint when you pay your voucher! Specialty medical consultations are exclusively at the San Joaquin Medical Center. Also, some tests and procedures can be performed at all network centers, not only at the San Joaquin medical center or the hospital in Marcoleta.
Starting with the new agreement with the UC-CHRISTUS Health Network, All regular UC students, students in the process of graduation or in the process of graduation (maximum 1 year of the last semester with enrolled courses) who have a health system with payment of vouchers (Fonasa or Isapre), will be able to access a series of benefits and coverage in clinical health care, specialty medical care at Centro Médico San Joaquín and laboratory tests in the different centers of the network.
If you are not affiliated to any of the aforementioned systems, but you wish to enroll in FONASA section A, you can review this infographic where we explain how to become a member .
Excluded from the benefits of this agreement are those UC students who are not affiliated to Fonasa or Isapre, or who have closed health insurances that do not issue bonds, such as Dipreca, Capredena or other insurance of the Armed Forces, since they already have full coverage and services in specific health establishments.
